Legacy Christian Academy, in accordance with Nevada Revised Statute (NRS 388.253 & 394.168-1699), has developed a comprehensive plan for response to crises, emergencies and other hazards.

The plan is subject to annual review and update through state and local law enforcement agencies, state and local emergency management agencies, state educational agencies, the governing board of Legacy Christian Academy, Legacy Christian Academy administration and staff, and the Legacy Christian Academy emergency response plan  review committee. Every employee of the school is trained annually in crisis response and emergency response. Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 394.1698 and 388.259, all details and facets of the crisis and emergency response plans are confidential, and board or committee meetings concerning development, training or review of the plans are not subject to the provisions of Open Meeting Law  (394.1699 and 388.261)
