Meet The Board

Brady is currently the lead pastor for discipleship and teaching at The Bridge Church in Carson City, Nevada.

He began and oversaw The Bridge Kids Out of School Ministry and Kids Church for five years.

He is happily married to Charlotte; they have two daughters.

Dr. Hannah Rodriguez is a veterinarian currently teaching at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).

She and her family moved from Starr Valley, Nevada where she owned a mixed-animal practice.

Hannah and her husband, John have two children, as well as a small collection of animals.

Christopher is currently the Head of Risk & Compliance for Sightline Payments. He also owns a consulting firm and provides fractional Chief Compliance Officer and advisory support in Risk & Compliance for FinTechs and is the co-founder of Pro-Life Payments. 

He serves as the Treasurer for the board of directors at PAX Christian Church where he and his family attend in Gardnerville. 

Christopher is happily married to Stephanie and they both enjoy exploring Nevada with their son. 

Lu is a retired teacher with multiple decades of experience working with children and teens. Her heart is for children to understand that Jesus isn’t just a name to be heard at church on Sunday morning, but He is to be included in our everyday lives.

Lu has been married to Mark for 34 years. They

have two grown children Dane and Amy.

Sean is recently retired from State employment, in the administrative law field.

He lives in south Reno and attends Calvary Chapel Reno Sparks. He believes strongly in the importance of a Bible based, Christian education and the discipleship of our youth.

Sean loves to spend time with his two, young-adult nephews. He loves the outdoors and is a pickleball enthusiast.

Lisa is the Corporate Controller at a real estate development firm, with a strong background in finance and accounting. She loves learning new things and sharing her knowledge with others. Lisa and her husband, Randy, live in Carson City with their daughter and their two dogs. In their free time, they enjoy gardening and getting outdoors, especially around Lake Tahoe.

Rodney Van Pelt is a School Board Member at Legacy Christian Academy in Carson City, Nevada, where he is dedicated to advancing Christ-centered education and fostering strong character development in students. With a diverse background as a physician, educator, and researcher, he brings decades of experience in analytical thinking, leadership, and teaching.
Rodney currently serves as a professor at Klesis Seminary, where he teaches theological studies and mentors students in leadership and ministry. He is also active as a lifestyle and nutrition consultant, helping individuals pursue healthier lives through informed, research-based guidance. 

Deeply committed to biblical values, informed citizenship, and community service, Dr. Van Pelt is passionate about supporting the mission of Legacy Christian Academy. He and his wife, Kim enjoy outdoor activities including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, and bicycling.
