Meet Joe and Sara Choat

Hello - Sara and I have been married since 1993 - I know, how'd I get that blessed? We have 2 (amazing) daughters; one in college and one in high school. Sara is a lifelong teacher, and I am a teacher of sorts, I work in IT and help anyone who asks. In 2017 we were stunned by the high school education our daughters were about to be subjected to and exploring other options found Sierra Lutheran High School. SLHS has been such a blessing to our family and friends and opened our eyes to the real issues at hand, what is being taught to our children and how do we correct that worldview to be Christ-centered? Fast forward to Spring 2021 with pandemics and hate speech, summer with wild-fires and an overabundance of political correctness and we (Sara) determined to act. Hence the need for a Biblically based curriculum and reinforcement for families - LCA.
